Mrs. Greer’s Cafeteria
American · MemorialAbout Mrs. Greer’s Cafeteria
Tucked inside the hallowed halls of St. Thomas High School, Greer’s Grease-ateria has been feeding hungry Eagles since well before nouvelle cuisine was a twinkle in anyone’s eye. Head Dietician Mrs. Doris Greer runs a tight ship on a menu dictated more by Sysco pricing than Michelin stars โ think square pizza on Fridays, a daily rotation of that mysterious “whole sausage” with a side of something green-adjacent, and the house specialty: french fries with enough grease to earn the establishment its affectionate nickname (courtesy of the 1973 Aquin yearbook). Seating is first-come, first-served, the house china is a ten-inch white plastic plate, and the sommelier is a half-pint carton of 2% milk. Don’t ask for the wine list. Do ask for seconds on Jell-O.
