About Little Bigs

Little Bigs was the slider-and-snacks joint that Bryan Caswell opened in 2009 alongside his Reef partner Bill Floyd. Tucked into Montrose’s Chelsea Market complex, the tiny counter-service storefront turned Caswell’s fine-dining playfulness loose on sliders: Gulf fish, pork belly, lamb, pastrami, and a revolving cast of specials, paired with seasoned fries and shakes. For nearly a decade Little Bigs was a neighborhood late-night favorite and a frequent stop for Rice University and Museum District crowds. It closed at the end of September 2018 after Caswell and the landlord could not come to terms on a lease renewal.
