Bill Hutchinson

STHS Class of 1974. Founder of Pizaro’s Pizza Napoletana, one of Houston’s most acclaimed pizzerias. What began as a hobby in 2009 quickly became a passion as Hutchinson pursued certification as a Pizzaiolo from the Verace Pizza Napoletana organization and trained under master pizza chef Peppe Miele. In 2011, Bill, along with his wife Gloria and son Matt, opened the original Pizaro’s in a small Memorial-area shopping center. The restaurant’s commitment to authentic Neapolitan technique and wood-fired ovens earned it a devoted following. A second location in Montrose followed in 2015, cementing Pizaro’s reputation as one of Houston’s top destinations for traditional Neapolitan-style pizza.
